A few weeks ago, we founded the Dinner Exchange Berlin UG.

Very exciting! We were lucky enough to convince Eckehard Mewes, Sarah’s father, to be our CFO.

We decided to form a company, a UG, because we would like to offer a catering service from now on, and also, to operate in larger frameworks. The main idea  behind this change is that we would like the catering service to help finance the dinners we organise ourselves in the future (which have mainly relied on donations in the past).

So if you are planning culinary events in the future, you can always contact us. We will do our best to create a unique culinary experience, all based on produce that would otherwise go to waste. We look forward to exploring this new path.

Chocolate halva (Haim Raphael’s), one of the best discoveries of this culinary exploration. The strip of pure chocolate in the middle makes it quite special.
